Abacus Technology is seeking a Network Automation Engineer to provide router and boundary network infrastructure support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. This is a full-time position.
5+ years experience in scripting to automate network devices. HS diploma or GED. Must be Security+ and CCNP certified. CCIE certifications desired. Experience with scripting languages to include Python, Ansible, PowerShell, and BAT to automate network device provisioning process, execute network changes and obtain data collection for reporting or analysis. Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches. Able to assess infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions. Knowledge of relevant server-side tools and technologies. Extensive experience with security as it pertains to network architecture, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems (IDS). Solid customer service and communication skills are critical as well as the ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately in an empathetic and understanding manner. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
