Abacus Technology is seeking a Data Scientist to provide analytical support for the Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC).  This is a full-time position.

• Collect data from various sources, identify positive and negative trends and report detailed information using graphs, charts, and spreadsheets. 
• Support data normalization.
• Analyze large data sets and addressing imputation (missing data).
• Apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of project objectives or contributes to the implementation of strategic direction. 
• Develop reports and deliverables for management and communicates with stakeholders.

3+ years experience in research and data analysis.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Knowledge of quantitative techniques and methods used to develop, adapt, modify, and apply models to resolve problems or define and clarify alternative solutions.  Experience visualizing data analysis results.  Familiarity with constructive simulation systems (e.g., AFSIM, ITASE, NGTS).  Experience with Python, R, VBA, or MATLAB preferred.  Must be detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.  Must have good communications skills and be able to work professionally with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
