Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to provide program and functional support for the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) at Lackland AFB.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional project management support for IT projects and resources.
  • Provide weekly status updates to the government PM regarding project status.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project status and updates including responding to inquiries from the program office.
  • Schedule and assign tasks in support or IT projects.
  • Work with government management team to prioritize requirements and schedule deployments.
  • Act as the point of contact for IT projects including an enterprise data center and the hosting enclave.
  • Maintain regular communication with AFCEC Cyber Security Team regarding project compliance status.
  • Update eMASS and ITIPS as needed.
  • Complete any program-level taskers assigned by the government customer.
  • Maintain/update project tasks and the ticket queue to ensure requests are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Brief change requests and status updates at the monthly AFCEC SharePoint CCB.
  • Escalate any pertinent tickets/issues to Government PM, as needed.
  • Attend weekly status meetings with contract leadership.

Qualifications

8+ years experience in a business or systems analysis role.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Experience with project tracking, providing status updates, and identifying the necessary resources to support IT projects.  Able to adapt to the customer environment, develop an understanding of the business.  Able to think conceptually and strategically and learn quickly; think critically, analyze, and act as an active listener.  Able to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, ensure any conflicts are brought to the attention of the management team, and multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously.  Strong written and verbal communication skills and capable of working with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
