Abacus Technology is seeking a VTC Coordinator to facilitate and provide technical support for VTC operations for the Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TAAS) program at Hanscom AFB.  This is a full-time position.

• Support the primary facilitator and technical coordinator for all Video Teleconference (VTC) suites.
• Assist in maintaining the COMSEC inventory for AFNWC/NC and all related documentation. 
• Act as the alternate Telephone Control Officer (TCO) to assist with Voice over Internet Protocol phones (vIPers). 
• Assist with Unified Communications Tasks as required.
• Aid with operations and maintenance of all phones and VTCs.
• Act as the alternate scheduler of the VTCs for the unit.
• Monitor equipment to ensure all equipment is upgraded to latest version and ensure all Unified Communications (UC) equipment is compliant with applicable regulations, including DISA STIGS and TEMPEST.

10+ years experience in a VTC role.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Knowledge of VTC systems and how to operate.  Experience with common VTC codecs such as Polycom and Cisco.  Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Teams.  Must have strong customer service experience and communications skills and able to interact professionally with end users.  Must be a self-starter, demonstrate good organizational skills, and be able to manage time and priorities effectively.  Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.  Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time (up to three hours), stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb (stairs, ladders) and balance (ascend/descend, work atop, traverse).  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.
