Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to support IT and telecommunications tasks at Fort Johnson.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance standards and processes for all IT and telecommunications tasks and deliverables.
  • Perform periodic inspections of tasks performed and report on nonconformances or noncompliance with contractor and Government policies and procedures.
  • Manage quality improvement activities including problem management, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
  • Create common business specific quality measurements and metrics and track improvement against these metrics.
  • Provide an independent assessment of the projects relative to defined standards and recommends methods to optimize organizational processes.
  • Support all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits and review/analyze data and documentation.
  • Conduct and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points.

Qualifications

3+ years experience in a quality assurance role for IT and telecommunications projects.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired.  Must be detail oriented and maintain documentation related to projects.  Able to develop reports and provide briefings to program and government management.  Able to work independently or as part of a team and communicate efficiently with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
