Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Supply Technician to provide logistical support for shipping, receiving, inventory, and storage at Picatinny Arsenal.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide all parts and supplies required for contract performance including jacks, jumper wire, electrical tape, tie wraps, pedestals, and splice cases. 
  • Perform inventory management, storage management and material acquisition or disposition necessary to maintain a sufficient stock of items to meet the reasonable day-to-day operation requirements and special projects. 
  • Maintain warehouse inventory control of all property received using a Government-directed automated stock accountability system to assist the Government in complying with accountability and security standards. 
  • Provide sources of supply through the use of quotes or bids from multiple vendors, when reasonably available.  
  • Obtain purchase approval, in advance, from the COR utilizing a list with item name, quantity, source, unit price, and total price for each item.  
  • Establish an audit trail accounting for the usage of parts. 
  • Manage and maintain contract purchased materials at the warehouse. 

Qualifications

3+ years experience in warehousing, stocking, and/or inventory.  Experience bar coding and inventory management applications.  Experience managing warehouse operations including bench stock ordering and field service material preparation.  Must be able to use a fork lift and a pallet jack.  Must have full body mobility and be able to lift at least 50 pounds.  Must have a current and valid driver’s license.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
