Abacus Technology is seeking a Functional Task Lead to oversee a team providing business and systems analysis for the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) at Lackland AFB.  This is a full-time position.

• Provide functional management support to include records management, data categorization, configuration management, cyber related activities, etc.
• Provide functional requirements analysis support for the EESOH-MIS, a CE Enterprise system managed by the AFLCMC/GBO PMO.
• Provide functional project management and IT resources to develop the base functional requirements using acceptable software engineering and Agile methodologies.
• Document business needs and functional requirements to allow EESOH-MIS to support the Air Force CE mission.
• Identify project goals and deliverables, schedule meetings, and validate and provide recommendations on final documentation for submittal to the EESOH-MIS PMO.
• Ensure the created artifacts are added to the EESOH-MIS requirements management repository.
• Manage requirements elicitation meetings with selected members of the target user community.
• Provide meeting notes and action item lists of all such meetings.
• Document functional and behavioral requirements of the requested application capabilities using Use Case diagrams, Use Case narratives, sequence diagrams as needed, and functional system testing using Atlassian toolset.
• Document static data requirements using suitable approaches and artifacts such as state charts (tables or diagrams), class diagrams, and object diagrams.
• Assist in updating the logical Business Domain Model as needed.
• Create Epics, Features, and Stories for each approved project.
• Create any Software Requirements Specifications needed by the system development organization to evaluate and design the capability for deployment in EESOH-MIS.
• Provide support for the sustainment and new development activities.
• Provide functional management support to include, but not limited to, EESOH-MIS SAAR (DD2875) and user account management, records management, data categorization, configuration management, cyber related activities, acceptance testing, etc.

8+ years experience in a business or systems analysis role including at least 5 years supporting EESOH-MIS.  Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related IT field.  Experience with TriRega/NexGen IT and/or Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS) acceptable as substitutes for EESOH-MIS experience.  Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements.  Experience with Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence.  Able to adapt to the customer environment, develop an understanding of the business.  Able to think conceptually and strategically and learn quickly; think critically, analyze, and act as an active listener.  Able to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, ensure any conflicts are brought to the attention of the management team, and multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously.  Strong written and verbal communication skills and capable of working with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
