Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Analyst to ensure systems meet end user requirements for the HQ Air Mobility Command Surgeon General Medical IT Services program at Scott AFB. This is a full-time position.
Support and attend meetings and conferences necessary for the sustainment of the AE EHR capability and in support of HQ AMC/SG IM/IT program integration. Provide a written Contractor’s Progress, Status and Management Report. Provide a Technical & Management Work Plan. Provide operational support to include fielding, technical expertise, maintenance, and sustainment for hardware, software, and technical writing to maintain mission readiness. Configure, integrate, distribute, and troubleshoot PC-based microcomputers, printers, and associated software applications which might include COTS and locally-developed utilities and application software. Provide planning, analysis, troubleshooting, integration, installation, operations, maintenance, training, documentation, and administration services for existing and future EHR and integrated medical IT systems. Provide technical support through the analysis and assessment of equipment reliability, capability and performance, in-depth troubleshooting and fault isolation, preparation of analysis to support recommendation of hardware to include technical refreshment to meet operational requirements. Provide research on new IT equipment specifications for upgrade efforts. Provide technical support through the analysis of software applications, perform repair and maintenance, configuration management, and resolution of integration problems, and make appropriate enhancements as approved by COR to existing systems as well as assist customers in identifying their requirements and problems. Receive, track, coordinate, and resolve job requests, from receipt through completion, using existing Government applications. Provide an Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP). Maintain the centralized hardware tracking system that supports hardware problem resolution and distributes general information concerning security updates and group policies. Coordinate with COR to address interoperability and connectivity issues for the network, which may include recommendations and requirement for reconfiguration and relocation of LAN/WAN equipment in order to meet operational requirements. Conduct continuous process improvement using customer feedback, analysis, and audits. Manage workstation configuration and integration tasks required to connect workstations to the LAN/WAN environment so that workstations can access LAN resources. Provide system support (Level 1 and Level 2) via telephone and in-person training as required. Support Operational global CCATT and other Medical exercises where electronic health records are used on site. Support Mobile Aeromedical Evacuation Patient Staging Course (AEPSC) on site. Prepare and support all medical electronic health equipment during and prior to global exercises. Ensure that War Readiness Materiel (WRM) EHR equipment is updated with proper configuration prior to and during supported exercises. Provide routine troubleshooting and maintenance of AE EHR and AHLTA-T CCATT Module hardware including servers, clients, printers and network hardware. Provide routine troubleshooting of AE EHR and AHLTA-T CCATT software, TCP/IP configuration, and operating systems errors. Re-image AE EHR and AHLTA-T CCATT Module systems into server and client computers. Provide system administration for AE EHR and AHLTA-T CCATT Module software.
6+ years experience in IT and systems support. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Must hold a certification in compliance with DoD 8570 requirements. Extensive experience gathering and documenting business requirements. Experience with business and system analysis. Must be proficient in all aspects of the system life cycle and have an understanding of large-scale system development. Able to adapt to the customer environment and develop an understanding of the business. Able to analyze complex inputs and translate data into well-defined system requirements. Comfortable interacting heavily with clients and end users to assess current state of systems and architecture, as well as future needs. Familiar with MS Project for developing schedules and plans. Attitude, adaptability, and ability to learn are paramount. Experience developing project schedules, project plans, and work breakdown structures. Exposure to project management preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
