    Abacus Technology is seeking a Program Manager to provide oversight for aircraft maintenance and repair for the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) at Redstone Arsenal.  This is a full-time position.


    Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks.  Manage teams of maintenance and support personnel at multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.  Maintain and manage the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.  Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.  Ensure conformance with program task schedules and costs.  


    15+ years experience in aircraft maintenance and repair including experience in a project or program management role.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired.  Experience supporting Air Defense programs.  Experience managing a large and geographically dispersed team.  Experience managing schedule and cost baselines.  Must be able to recommend viable solutions to problems and pursue alternative courses of action.  Able to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).  Able to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and tasks to senior management, and support program management reviews, and senior level meeting/reviews.  Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.  Proven ability to understand the strategic and tactical approach to projects and handle multiple projects concurrently.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
