Abacus Technology is seeking a Financial Manager to provide support for cost analysis, budget analysis, and government regulations pertaining to finance. This is a full-time position.
Provide cost, budget, and financial analyses for programs and/or projects of the firm. Plan and track expenditure of the firms’ projects and compile financial reports through various reporting tools. Prepare all financial reporting and analysis as defined by contract deliverables. Provide support in the annual planning process as well as the subsequent monthly financial forecasting and report. Compile, analyze, interpret, and report financial data, communicate and present financial results (Actual performance vs Plan and Forecast). Collaborate with Program Managers, Accounting, Contracts personnel, senior technical personnel and other internal functions or support departments. Provide backup support to Proposal Manager, as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
7+ years experience in project support and financial analysis. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must have a strong financial background and experience supporting Federal government contracts including CPAF, T&M, and Fixed Price. Experience with Air Force ACRN requirements and FINCON. Experience with JAMIS Prime a plus. Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) desired. Must have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Must be able to work independently and as a key member of a team. Able to handle multiple tasks/projects. Must be detail oriented and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with particular strength in MS Excel a must. Must be willing to travel when required. Must be a US citizen.
