    Abacus Technology is seeking a Software Developer to provide support for the application development life cycle under the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB.  This is a full-time position.


    Collaborate with a team to design and develop SharePoint-based software solutions to fulfill the customer’s needs.  Maintain and update existing SharePoint-based web apps.  Provide input and technical guidance on solutions to customer requirements.  Provide input on process improvement.  Document the development process and tools used in the software development lifecycle.


    4+ years experience in client-side software development.  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.  Security+ certification a plus.  Strong background in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, ChartJS, etc.), HTML/CSS, SharePoint, REST API, and database integration.  Must understand the concepts and complexities of cloud computing.  Possess basic understanding of networking concepts.  Must be able to work on multiple projects, prioritize assignments, and have excellent time management skills.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools.  Must be able to work as part of a team or independently.  Must understand the unique dynamics of working in a customer-embedded environment.  Experience working in a DoD environment a plus.  Must be able to perform work involving the research, definition of scope, and selection of problem investigation for subject areas as directed.  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Able to take direction.  Excellent interpersonal skills to include the ability to deal with high-ranking military officers and civilians.  Willingness to learn new technologies and apply creative solutions to challenging obstacles.  Must be a US citizen.
