Abacus Technology is seeking a Contract Recruiter to provide direct support to a large program under the C3I&N/ETASS task order at Hanscom AFB through full life cycle recruiting. This is a contract position (1099 or Corp-to-Corp).
Participate in full life cycle recruiting for a variety of IT, engineering, acquisition, and management positions. Identify and screen potential candidates. Schedule and participate in interviews to evaluate candidates. Work with management to extend offers. Coordinate and attend open houses and job fairs. Provide weekly and ad-hoc status reports on progress.
5+ years experience recruiting for IT positions supporting Federal government clients. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must have experience supporting Hanscom AFB and Air Force programs. Significant experience utilizing social media to support branding and identify candidates. Must have connections to local DoD organizations and associations such as AFCEA. Experience working with a formal recruiting process. Must be able to work independently and make regular reports to the recruiting manager. Solid communications skills are critical.
