Abacus Technology is seeking a Program Manager to oversee and manage onsite Professional IT Support services for a contract with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). This is a full-time position.
Serve as the onsite lead to provide overall program management for tasking under the IT support contract ranging in scope from operations and maintenance to support of new projects and IT engineering, including network engineering and management, IT systems engineering and administration, application and web maintenance, cyber security, IT planning and other related tasks. Responsibilities span the full breadth of program management activities, including planning and directing activities, resource and personnel management, scheduling, performance management, and other aspects of program management. Ensure contract performance goals are met. Act as the primary point of contact with government contract representatives and managers.
15+ years experience in the IT field, with at least 10 years of IT management experience that includes managing an O&M contract. Master’s in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Must be PMP certified. Additional certifications such as ITIL Foundations v3 and/or DoD 8570 (e.g. Security+, CCNA-Security, CAP, CASP, CISSP) desired. Experience managing large teams of 30+ staff providing across multiple IT support areas. Working knowledge of USAF IT environment and networks, including NIPRNet, SIPRNet, WICs, SAPnet. Proven expertise in managing cost, resources, schedules, and risks. Must be knowledgeable of Air Force tools and technologies as well as applicable AFOSI, U.S. Air Force (AF), U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) policies, processes and regulations. Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organization. Able to foster effective government-contractor relationships to promote mutually beneficial partnerships. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.
