Abacus Technology is seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide technical support for the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson AFB. This is a full-time position.
Provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Identify, research, and resolve technical problems. Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Document, track, and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
0-2 years experience in a technical support role. Associate’s degree in a related field. Must hold at least one of the following certifications: A+ CE, Network+ CE, and/or CCNA-Security. Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures related to technical support. Able to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Able to provide regular updates to the management team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
