    Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for an AOC Weapons system at Al Udeid AB.  This is a full-time position.


    Perform all engineering support tasks for AOC Weapons System C4ISR networks, systems and infrastructure.  Coordinate sourcing of operational C4ISR system data (e.g. mapping and imagery data, Air Tasking Order/Air Coordination Order databases).  Develop and maintain AOC Weapons System network/systems/server configuration and connectivity drawings, diagrams, documentation and plans.  Develop and submit an AOC Weapons Systems Engineering Monthly Status Report.


    8+ years experience in a system engineering role.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.  Must be Security+ and VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) certified.  Must be CCNA or MCSE certified.  Experience with DoD systems.  Significant MS Server operating systems and VMWare support experience is required.  Experience with Cisco.  Significant experience with enterprise backup and SAN solutions.  Familiarity with DevOps/Agile methodologies preferred.  Experience providing application support for COTS and proprietary applications.  Experience supporting both the client and server-side for enterprise systems.  Must have experience with hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting.  Must be customer service oriented and able to demonstrate strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.  Able to interact professionally with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
