Abacus Technology is seeking a McAfee Systems Security Engineer to provide technical support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
Support system integration and test activities for McAfee Systems Security application on the Air Force Network. Provide technical guidance and review as needed. Validate HW/SW implementation strategies, perform tuning and optimization, test, implement, and troubleshoot patches/TCTOs on various IT systems. Work with McAfee Tier II/III platinum support representatives to resolve technical issues with HBSS applications. Collaborate with DISA and third party vendors on product development and integration. Assist with installation, configuration, fielding, testing and troubleshooting of current and future McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Enterprise Core Suite and Small Virtual Suites located at various AF installations. Address technical problems associated with McAfee software and provide proactive support and mission-critical CCRI operational risk assessment support to AF operators at various locations (33rd, 561st, 83rd, and 299th NOSs, etc.). Resolve functional and security issues with ePO applications; HIPS, ArcSight SIEM, VSE, DLP, RSD, and other GOTS applications; Operational Attributes Manager, Asset Publishing Service and Asset Configuration compliance Module. Support product implementation and engage in hands-on implementation of ePO and associated GOTS products. Analyze technical and integration requirements and develop effective technical solutions in McAfee Technical Requirement Document (TRD).
5+ years’ experience in IT HW/SW testing/troubleshooting to include developing and implementing test plans, test procedures, and test reports. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience in automated and script-driven testing. Experience in development and execution of integration scripts and capabilities-based test/use cases toward validation of system requirements. Ability to support systems engineering process to ensure requirements are testable, developing test plans and procedures, allocating requirements to test levels, test methods, test cases, and test steps. Thorough understanding of application software, operating systems, networks, storage platforms, and how they relate to system architecture. Experience working on each stage of the system development life cycle from initiation through deployment/sustainment. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong commitment to continuous learning and ability to work in a team environment. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
