  • Overview

    Abacus Technology is seeking an Intern to support the multimedia team on the COMIT program at Johnson Space Center.  This is a paid internship requiring approximately 30 hours/week. 

    Responsibilities

    Support the multimedia team in telling the NASA science story and expanding multimedia capabilities within the External Relations Office.  Write engaging features for the public about the science onboard the International Space Station.  Produce engaging science-focused multimedia products.  Examples of products include but are not limited to: blog posts, social media content, video products, podcasts, news releases, feature articles and web copy.  Engage with project scientists and principal investigators to gather content.

    Qualifications

    Must be currently pursuing a college degree in a scientific area of study.  Experience with writing and producing multimedia products for science programs a plus.  Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.  Must be detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to meeting tight deadlines.  Must be a US citizen.
