Abacus Technology is seeking a Project Manager to support the Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) PMO. This is a full-time position.
Serve as liaison between PMO and EIA project teams. Assist projects and EIA PMs. Support project activities and PM’s work, such as schedule maintenance, risk tracking, work product development (e.g., charters, PMP). Facilitate monthly decisional meetings and assist with preparation of Executive Summaries and decisional memos. Work collaboratively with EIA PMs to produce project documentation (e.g., Project Management Plans).
10+ years experience in a project management role. Master's degree in a related field. Experience with all facets of project management (planning, execution, tracking, risk management, scheduling, work product development). Able to interact with people at all levels of an organization. Must be customer focused, possess a service-oriented attitude, and have solid communication skills. Previous experience supporting EIA is desirable. Must be a US citizen and be eligible for a Public Trust.
