Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to provide analysis support to the Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) business processes. This is a full-time position.
Provide analysis and support with EIA procurement, contracting, finance and other enterprise business processes. Document analysis results. Ensure processes are adhered to by EIA staff and are measured and analyzed for problems. Assist EIA management in the development of long-term and/or short-term acquisition strategies and/or briefings. Provide expert review and preparation of documentation that will be reviewed/approved by senior leadership. Assist in the implementation of an automated document tracking system. Assist financial analysts with analysis tasks of financial processes.
10+ years experience in business analysis and processes. Master's degree in a related field. Experience conducting organizational, work simplification, and process studies. Experience developing SOPs. Capable of assisting with process improvement tasks in an organization. Able to interact with people at all levels of an organization. Must be customer focused, possess a service-oriented attitude, and have solid communication skills. Previous experience supporting EIA is desirable. Must be a US citizen and eligible for a Public Trust.
