  • Overview

    Abacus Technology is seeking an Information Security Analyst to provide security management and support at Hill AFB.  This is a full-time position.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans; Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs); system topology design; analysis and implementation of security controls according to assessment guidance, procedures, and templates; and uniform implementation of the RMF based assessment process.  Provide system administration and information assurance support.  Maintain hardware and software security control management for continued compliance of security and protection plans.  Assist in upgrading and configuring system hardware/software per project or operational needs as required.  Assist with development of Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages for stand-alone and mission system.  Provide artifacts for certification and accreditation packages and provide recommendations for improvements to support successful conduct of security categorization, control assessments, final risk analysis.  Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.

    Qualifications

    6+ years experience supporting information systems.  Bachelor's degree in a related field desired.  Must be able to meet DoD 8570 certification requirements (e.g. Security+).  Experience should be in PC and Networking support at the System Administrator level.  Experience with the certification and accreditation process.  Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).  Significant experience in vulnerability scanning and analysis, including the use of automated tools and vulnerability management systems.  Knowledge of intrusion prevention and network access control tools/systems.  Understanding of system audit principles and security risk assessment.  Must have a solid understanding of network infrastructure and mission assurance.  Familiar with Federal government and DOD standards for IA/security including DIACAP, FISMA, NIST, and OMB.  Must have solid communications skills and be capable of working with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
