  • Overview

    Abacus Technology is seeking a Technical Specialist to provide quality assurance and technical management support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Lackland AFB.  This is a full-time position.

    Responsibilities

    Implement an independent assessment/verification process that establishes QA measures to include the methodology, standards and processes focusing on elements specific to FSS II.  Provide reports to include an overview of how the quality program will be tailored specific to this effort.  Produce intended checklists for management of risks, capturing lessons learned and including capabilities for process improvements.  Implement procedures for ensuring detection of defective equipment/materials and for ensuring compliant deliverables.  Develop and implement processes which ensure the FSS II contractor compliance systems address operational availability and meet the objectives of the FSS II PWS.  Utilize/monitor/enforce the quality assurance surveillance plan (QASP) for the FSS II contract.  Summarize and review quality relationships, processes, findings and observations when requested by the government.  

    Qualifications

    5+ years experience in quality assurance.  Work related certifications and/or training strongly preferred.  Must be detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.  Requires good communications skills and the ability to work professionally with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
