    Abacus Technology is seeking a Scheduler to support the management team with project status in support of the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB.  This is a full-time position.


    Assist the management team and project team in managing and maintaining project schedules with and without Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).  Compile all vendor schedules into a Master Schedule.  Maintain Master Schedule with updates to completion percentages and dates.  Advise program staff and/or vendor of any conflicts and assist in resolution.  Document feedback relative to missed completion dates within the schedule.  Generate a report for the CIO showing current completions and past due items as well as planned dates for future tasks through the next reporting periodFor projects with a WBS, work with the vendor to develop a compliant schedule and integrate into a Master Schedule.  Serve as a resource to clarify WBS definitions and mappings.  Assign schedule dependencies and develop schedule baselines.  Capture and report variance of completion dates versus the baselines.  Assist in the resolution of Schedule and Earned Value conflicts.  Perform Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) monitoring and reporting activities.  Coordinate with vendors in submitting schedule updates on a cyclic basis.  Compile and publish updates into a defined master schedule.  Report any conflicts to appropriate parties and assist in resolution.  Perform risk analysis and mitigation by monitoring schedule updates for program impact.  Perform analysis of tasks for milestones, time conflicts, and process flowSupport IMS Scheduling and Earned Value Management.  Assist in the implementation of an Earned Value Management Program.  Develop a WBS and define terms associated with each WBS element.  Maintain biweekly updates to the IMS for Earned Value Analysis (EVA).  Provide IMS schedule updates to the financial office for EVA on a cyclic basis.  Assist the financial office in identifying and tracking issues and risks that may prevent programs from meeting milestones.  Assist the financial office in rectifying issues and reducing the risks.


    5+ years experience supporting IT projects through scheduling and coordination.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Must have a background in supporting technical tasks and project management functions according to the complete project life cycle.  Must be able to work closely with technical teams and government program managers with equal efficiency.  Experience with MS Project or similar tool.  Knowledge of earned value management and analysis a plus.  Must be highly motivated, assertive, and possess excellent communication skills.  Must be a US citizen.
