Abacus Technology is seeking a Logistician to provide acquisition support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
Provide life cycle sustainment planning and support for the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) and Airborne Network Global Information Grid (GIG) Interface (ANGI) Programs. Conduct acquisition logistics management support to include performing life cycle supportability analyses; developing/reviewing Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Computer Resources Life Cycle Management Plans, and solicitation documentation; and establishing maintenance/support concepts. Assist with the procurement and management processes of support equipment, test equipment, technical orders, spares, training, supply support, and other resources. Provide functional support in the areas of reliability and maintainability, Instructional System Design (ISD), and acquisition/training documentation development.
5+ years experience in a logistics position. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must have a strong understanding of the Joint Urgent Operational Needs (JUON) process. Experience relevant to acquire and sustain aircraft and communications equipment, products, and services to include product support verification and fielding of systems, training support, supply chain management, support equipment, technical data and other required materials to fully implement and sustain program plans. Able to direct, develop and perform enterprise logistics management that involves analyzing, coordinating, and evaluating the necessary actions required to create a fielding and support posture for designated programs. Experience in JUON/UON/Quick Reaction Capability logistics management and oversight. Site Activation Task Force experience supporting requirements development and supporting strategies for equipment deployments CONUS and OCONUS. Aircraft electronics/communications/Software equipment maintenance operations for military systems. Experience in aircraft acquisition to include FAA requirements and maintenance management of aviation systems. Knowledge of quality assurance standards for Aircraft communications and IT/Software systems. Familiar with supply chain management using Military and Commercial Carriers/Supply Account setup and monitory. Experience with weapon system health monitoring, reporting and analysis. Experience with performance based logistics contracts for sustainment and operational employment of Air Force Weapon Systems. Understanding of support equipment requirements determination process and coordination with stakeholder organizations. Knowledge of defense transportation process and procedures (PHS&T) and MILAIR coordination. Experience in procurement and fielding of contractor developed systems supporting fielding and test operations. Knowledge of depot and organizational-level maintenance planning and development. Able to act as the GFP/GFE/GFM and CAP Subject Matter Expert to include tracking and auditing for ICS/CLS JUON/UON programs. Able to develop all required program documentation for all product support elements with executive level quality. Able to clearly and concisely brief thoughts and opinions to senior leaders during program reviews. Willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS as needed. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
