  • Overview

    Abacus Technology is seeking an Asset Manager/Logistics Engineer to track assets and provide acquisition support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB.  This is a full-time position.

    Responsibilities

    Provide Asset Management, Configuration Management (CM), Quality Assurance (QA), Program/Project (PP), Requirements Analysis (RA), Risk Management (RM), and Software Engineering (SE) support service Plan, AF SEAM Configuration Management processes, program development/sustainment contracts, and PMO practices.  Support activities will range across the CM, QA, PP, RA, RM, and SE activities.  Provide support required by current activities of the program/system, scope of the current development/sustainment cycle, and other corporate and program initiatives.  Conduct acquisition logistics management support to include performing life cycle supportability analyses; developing/reviewing Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Computer Resources Life Cycle Management Plans, and solicitation documentation; and establishing maintenance/support concepts.  Assist with the procurement and management processes of support equipment, test equipment, technical orders, spares, training, supply support, and other resources.  Provide functional support in the areas of reliability and maintainability, Instructional System Design (ISD), and acquisition/training documentation development.

    Qualifications

    7+ years experience in asset management, inventory tracking, system analysis, and acquisitions including experience supporting the DoD.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Must have strong background in asset and inventory management, configuration management, requirements gathering and analysis, and risk assessment.  Progressive experience in managing configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits to enable government ownership of the program technical baseline.  Experience with Federal and DOD regulations as they pertain to acquisitions and logistics.  Capable of producing and maintaining well-written documentation to meet management and contract requirements.  Familiar with the full life cycle of the procurement process.  Must be organized and detail oriented.  Able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization and demonstrate strong customer service skills.  Must be a US Citizen.
