Abacus Technology is seeking a RAM Engineer to provide technical support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
Serve as the subject matter expert to develop metrics and measures along with determining the FRACAS product solution for the portfolio of HNI weapon systems. Support a holistic approach to the weapon systems. Determine the interface and interdependencies each system may have on the other. Conduct a FMECA to identify the hardware, software, virtual machines and applications that are critical to the operational mission. Develop meaningful metrics and measures for the critical components of the systems. Recommend a product solution for FRACAS and demonstrate the products effectiveness. Provide regular status reports/briefings and attend meetings as directed. Work with other subject matters experts within the division.
4+ years experience in engineering or math. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must be an ASQ (American Society for Quality) Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE). Relevant job experience must include conducting FMECA, FTA and RCM analyses. Must have current working knowledge of network operations, enterprise IT, and cybersecurity applications. Experience working on each stage of the system development life cycle from initiation through deployment/sustainment. Able to elicit and interpret requirements and translate to technical specifications/system design following best practices and design patterns. Able to communicate with management, technical staff, and end users in a clear and professional manner. Experience with engineering practices, techniques, and standards. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and present technical presentations. Able to represent complex data in diagrams or through other techniques that communicate precise information to both business and technical staff. Proven ability to understand the strategic and tactical approach to projects and handle multiple projects concurrently. Relevant working experience with any of the following is desired: IT industry leaders (commercial), DoD, NSA and DHS. Must be a US citizen.
