Abacus Technology is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to support accreditation for multiple environments to host migrating U.S. Air Force mission applications for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate under the ETASS program. This is a full-time position at Hanscom AFB.
Provide support to achieve and maintain Authority To Operate (ATO) for service environments provided by the U.S. Air Force (USAF) in DoD and commercial cloud infrastructures. Identify the security controls inheritable from service environments provided by the USAF in DoD Cloud infrastructures, as expressed in Risk Management Framework (RMF). Participate in security evaluations of service environments provided by the USAF as required to generate or validate artifacts to substantiate compliance with controls. Review contract deliverables. Review, evaluate, and comment on Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFPs) as needed.
12+ years experience in system engineering including information assurance. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must be able to meet the DoDI 8570.01 requirements for an IAM Level II. Knowledge of commercial Cloud Service Providers (CSP). Knowledge of DoD and AF RMF accreditation policies and requirements for cloud environments. Thorough knowledge of relevant technologies including Security Assertion Markup Language v2.0 and later, Secure Socket Layer (SSL), Transport Layer Security (TLS), ITU-T X.509 Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), ITU-T X.500, HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) v1.1. Thorough knowledge of the eMASS system. Must be a team player able to work professionally and collaboratively with the government customer and other contract members of the project team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a client focus. May be required to travel occasionally. Must be a US citizen.
