Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Software Manager to provide software support and oversight for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Lackland AFB.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Ensure all software supporting branch operations are installed and maintained on user workstations.  Ensure user images are maintained for software implemented in the MilCloud.  Maintain multi-user configurations to include segmentation of workgroup enclaves and associated user permissions.  Examples include the maintaining of SharePoint sites with continuous management of selective user permissions, management of JIRA and assignment of selective user permissions, management of Cameo Enterprise Architecture Team Work Server, License Manager, and Clients.  Maintain accounts with software vendors and download and install patches and upgrades.

Qualifications

7+ years experience in software installation and configuration.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired.  Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.  Must have experience in technologies including, but not limited to: MS SharePoint, MS Project Server, ASP/.NET/SQL Server legacy systems, JavaScript and related web technologies, and Oracle.  Experience eliciting, organizing, documenting, and tracking software requirements.  Experience with Agile and Cameo.  JIRA training desired.  Experience with maintaining client workstations in standard user configuration, setting up virtual machines in a cloud environment, as well as working experience with multi-user software packages.  Experience providing application support for COTS and proprietary applications.  Must be customer service oriented and able to demonstrate strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.  Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Top Secret with SCI.
