Abacus Technology is seeking a Software/Web Developer with experience in the design, creation, testing and maintenance of software and web based applications and content solutions in support of the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position.
DULUTH EIT SERVICES: Abacus Technology is hiring immediately for a recently-awarded large, long-term program. Full Scope Polygraph is required. Abacus has been selected as a subcontractor to provide regional enterprise IT services and devices to the end-user workforce of a large Government agency located across the Northeastern United States. IT Services include campus area networks and local area networks supporting end user desktop/laptop/tablet, phone, printers, copiers, and wireless devices. DULUTH interacts with a Global Service Desk and provides data and status for regional enterprise services.
Designs, creates, tests, and maintains software and web based applications and content solutions. Supports software design processes including architecture development, requirements analysis, process improvement, solution trade studies, and system integration. Interacts with stakeholders to develop and refine requirements. Follows a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and also adheres to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications (e.g., software reuse, modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, fault tolerant). Coordinates creation and integration of components into a coherent web site design. Designs and develops visually-pleasing, content rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation. Develops and maintains software and web development technical documentation. Supports software process and configuration management throughout the software/web development lifecycle.
Positions available at multiple experience levels including entry (0-3 years), mid (3-6 years), junior (7-10 years), senior (11-14 years), and principal (15+ years). Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred for principal-level position. Experience with web application and web service development. Must be a US citizen and hold an active/current TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
