    Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide server administration support for an enterprise environment.  This is a full-time position.


    DULUTH EIT SERVICES:  Abacus Technology is hiring immediately for a recently-awarded large, long-term program.  Full Scope Polygraph is required. Abacus has been selected as a subcontractor to provide regional enterprise IT services and devices to the end-user workforce of a large Government agency located across the Northeastern United States. IT Services include campus area networks and local area networks supporting end user desktop/laptop/tablet, phone, printers, copiers, and wireless devices. DULUTH interacts with a Global Service Desk and provides data and status for regional enterprise services.


    Provide and supervise set-up, configuration, and loading system software and hardware.  Provide system administration support of computers, servers, racks of equipment and configure/manage LAN interfaces.  Support web development, testing, system integration, installation scripts and other duties to support systems and network infrastructure. 


    3-5 years experience in a system administration role.  At least 3 years experience supporting NSA, CIA, DIA, NGA, and/or NRO.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT-2 or higher certification required.  Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, and/or ITIL v3 highly desirable.  Experience building and managing Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Sun Solaris, CentOS, and Unix Servers.  Able to interface with end users via email and phone to troubleshoot issues remotely.  Experience with installation, maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting for hardware and software.  Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux.  Experience administrating high performance computer clusters (HPC).  Experience performing and assisting with equipment specification, setup, problem resolution, and network support related to computer hardware and software.  Experience optimizing system operations.  Experience Managing Client Access Licenses (CALs) and other software licenses. Knowledge of communications and information security policies and practices.  Able to work independently or as part of a team and interact professionally within all levels of an organization.  Must be willing to provide occasional on-call or after-hours support when necessary.  Must be a US citizen and hold an active/current TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
