Abacus Technology is seeking a Portfolio Management Analyst advise the government related to multiple initiatives and projects. This is a full-time position.
DULUTH EIT SERVICES: Abacus Technology is hiring immediately for a recently-awarded large, long-term program. Full Scope Polygraph is required. Abacus has been selected as a subcontractor to provide regional enterprise IT services and devices to the end-user workforce of a large Government agency located across the Northeastern United States. IT Services include campus area networks and local area networks supporting end user desktop/laptop/tablet, phone, printers, copiers, and wireless devices. DULUTH interacts with a Global Service Desk and provides data and status for regional enterprise services.
Serve as an advisor to a Government-led team that:
10+ years experience in project/portfolio management. Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired. Able to plan, develop, monitor, control, analyze, report and communicate a fully sequenced, resource-loaded project schedule to various stakeholders utilizing the Critical Path Method (CPM). Able to identify and track technical, business, and programmatic risks or issues, obtain and analyze data for impacts, and communicate results with recommended mitigation options to various stakeholder levels within the Government, from working level to senior level management. Knowledgeable and experienced in performing most aspects of the project life cycle, process groups, and project processes, to include inputs/outputs of each, as laid out in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2), or equivalent. Able to respond to environmental changes and contain strong interpersonal skills with respect to leadership, team building, motivation, communication, influencing, negotiating, trust building, conflict management, coaching, cultural and political awareness. Strong oral, written, interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient in MS Office tools to include PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, and Word. Must be a fast learner with good analytical skills, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to one’s duties and responsibilities. Able to work in a team environment. Must be a US citizen and hold an active/current TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
