Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Integrator to seamlessly implement and integrate multiple software and systems into the existing IT infrastructure. This is a full-time position.
DULUTH EIT SERVICES: Abacus Technology is hiring immediately for a recently-awarded large, long-term program. Full Scope Polygraph is required. Abacus has been selected as a subcontractor to provide regional enterprise IT services and devices to the end-user workforce of a large Government agency located across the Northeastern United States. IT Services include campus area networks and local area networks supporting end user desktop/laptop/tablet, phone, printers, copiers, and wireless devices. DULUTH interacts with a Global Service Desk and provides data and status for regional enterprise services.
Introduce and integrate processes and procedures within the program. Install, configure, operate, and maintain network-launched user applications. Integrate processes and procedures for current programs. Provide training to government and team personnel. Assist multiple divisions in integrating processes within the appropriate work areas. Provide assistant to technical teams including end-to-end evaluation of existing processes, and providing recommendations/solutions to improve efficiency and cost savings. Participate in teams as needed to achieve government identified goals. Prepare status reports, training materials, and briefings for peers and leadership. Identify areas for improvement. Research and evaluate new processes and tools. Make recommendations to the customer, obtain approval, implement new process or tool, and provide training to the appropriate work areas
3+ years experience in a systems or network engineering role include at least 1 years supporting NSA, CIA, DIA, NGA, and/or NRO. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience in the following: Solaris and Linux; Solaris, Linux and Windows utilities and techniques to diagnose and correct performance bottlenecks. Significant experience in the following: designing complex collection systems; integrating systems using multiple operating systems; performing trade-off studies; and/or systems performance analysis. Proficient scripting skills in PowerShell. Knowledge of NetApp, NetApp Operations Manager, Cisco VMWare Vsphere, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft SCOM, Tivoli, NetApp SnapMirror, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft VBScript, Microsoft PowerShell, Maxim, and Microsoft SQL Server. Experience in Agile development methodology preferred. Knowledge of CA Application Performance Management (CA APM), Nagios, What’s Up Gold, Zenoss, or Solar Winds a plus. Experience with communications and information security policies and practices. Able to work independently or as part of a team and interact professionally within all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold an active/current TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
