Abacus Technology is seeking a Program Manager to oversee a team providing network and infrastructure support for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) OneNet program. This is a full-time position.
Monitor cost, performance, schedule, and risks for the entire DHS OneNet Program and OneNet projects. Track and report program and project management activities of all stakeholders (DHS components, DHS leadership, other functional areas, other Government agencies, etc.). Manage planning and communications with all of the stakeholders to include engineers, data centers, component representatives, government and non-governmental organizations involved with network change requests and projects. Manage the lifecycle for IT products and services. Establish the necessary steps to evaluate the current maturity level of the OneNet organization, and develop a detailed plan of continuous process improvement to mature OneNet services based on ITML and CMMI-SVC guidelines.
10+ years experience managing technical teams and at least 7 years experience in network engineering management and WAN. Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired. Must be PMP and ITIL v3 certified. Must hold a Cisco certification such as CCNA or CCNP. Experience managing a large team to support technical projects/programs. Able to document solutions with MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and Project. Must have ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with management and peers. Excellent customer interface, coordination, and organizational skills. Able to utilize interpersonal skills when interacting with multiple contractors and government organizations. Able to demonstrate independent judgment and the flexibility to accurately coordinate multiple projects with frequent interruptions. Previous experience supporting DHS highly desirable. Must be a US citizen.
