Abacus Technology is seeking a Technical Manager to provide support at the project and contract level for a range of IT services. This is a full-time position.
Manage service delivery staff to ensure service levels and objectives are met. Implement operations improvements to meet established objectives across multiple facilities. Assist in managing activities related to customer requirements, budget challenges, human resource needs and plans for new business development within assigned area. Facilitate customer relationship and satisfaction while ensuring adherence to company policies and processes. Investigate matters of significance, recommends and implementing appropriate course of action. Implement business processes and assisting in process improvement initiatives in order to enhance customer service.
4+ years experience in an IT role. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must be A+, Network+, CCNA-Security, or MCSE certified. Must have a background in leading technical tasks and performing project management functions according to the complete project life cycle. Must be able to work closely with technical teams and government program managers with equal efficiency. Experience with MS Project or similar tool. Must be highly motivated and assertive. Excellent communication skills, proactive management style, and the ability to manage customer and other stakeholder expectations. Must be a US citizen and hold a current TS/SCI.
