Abacus Technology is seeking a Data Manager for providing acquisition and management support for all programs within the C3I Infrastructure Division.  This is a full-time position.


Oversee and maintain control over nearly 50 contracts in relation to two programs within the organization.  Assign CDRL Item suspenses and track responses to customer deliverables and inquiries.  Implement and maintain data management plans, processes, and procedures.  Interact with Acquisition Project Managers and Engineering staff to develop Exhibit A packages for in-work contracts.  Coordinate program data management activities with contractors, other program office organizations, MAJCOMs, supporting agencies, and other military services.  Create and maintain a Configuration/Data Management (CM/DM) Library to ensure there is a centralized online and offline location for all reference documents pertaining to CM/DM.  Serve as a backup to the Configuration Manager.  Fulfill other contract management and acquisition-related duties as needed by the Government leads.


5+ years experience in a configuration/data management position.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Able to communicate with management, technical staff, and end users in a clear and professional manner.  Experience with engineering practices, techniques, and standards.  Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and present technical presentations.  Able to represent complex data in diagrams or through other techniques that communicate precise information to both business and technical staff.  Proven ability to understand the strategic and tactical approach to projects and handle multiple projects concurrently.  Must be a US citizen.
