Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Network Engineer to support the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Theater Deployable Communications (TDC) engineering efforts.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Install, upgrade, update, troubleshoot and design the following: Microsoft Windows 2012 Active Directory infrastructure, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Certificate Services, Exchange 2013, SQL, Backup Exec, VMware ESXi, Vcenter Server (including HA and clustering), SAN technologies, networks including switch configuration for VLANs, Routers, Proxy server (Bluecoat), IDS and IPS, as well as integration with other TDC elements including SATCOM and ICAP modules.  Draft, review and test FCO's and TCTO's.  This is a team environment that involves working with units in the field, other engineers, project managers and vendors. 

Qualifications

5+ years experience in network or systems engineering.  Bachelor's degree in a related field.  Must be Security+ certified or able to obtain the certification.  Work-related certifications or training in HBSS, ACAS, firewall (McAfee S4016), Windows 2016, virtualized storage, Network+, and Cisco switch and router configurations desired.  Ability/experience to install, upgrade, update, troubleshoot and design the following: Install, upgrade, update, troubleshoot and design the following: Microsoft Windows 2012 Active Directory infrastructure, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Certificate Services, Exchange, SQL, Backup Exec, VMware ESXi, Vcenter Server (including HA and clustering), SAN technologies (NetApp and VNX), networks including switch configuration for VLANs, Routers, Proxy server (Bluecoat), IDS and IPS, as well as integration with other TDC elements including SATCOM and ICAP modules.  Prior military Combat Communications or TDC experience.  Occasional travel may be required, however typically less than 10%.  Must be a US Citizen.
