Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for the U.S. Military Training Mission (USMTM) J6 at Eskan Village, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This is a full-time position.
Provide enterprise level systems engineering and information assurance support for network and telecommunications systems. Maintain, troubleshoot and support a Windows server environment, including Active Directory and Exchange. Provide information assurance for internal DNS, WINS, DHCP, web servers, backup servers, print servers, SharePoint servers, ad hoc server, Active Directory account services, mobile email account services, local chat services, database servers, Active Roles Server (ARS), remedy and other ticketing system servers, Microsoft servers. Provide services and solutions to realize an information assurance architecture that permeates all components and operations. Deliver information architecture services that conform to the customer-specific policies and adhere to DoD and federal standards for information assurance, using role-based, policy-based or attribute-based controls, and managing trusted relationships between network enclaves. Support 2-factor authentication and end to end security. Provide services and solutions in support of an information assurance architecture that delivers the following five categories of security services: confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity and non-repudiation. Provide Tier II Exchange troubleshooting and problem resolution.
10+ years experience in a systems or network engineering role. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience with Windows operating systems and IP based telecommunications protocols. Experience with engineering practices, techniques, and standards. Proficient with MS Office and MS Windows. Certifications such as A+, Security+, MCSE, CCNA and/or CISSP are desired. Able to communicate with management, technical staff and end users in a clear and professional manner. Able to represent complex data in diagrams or through other techniques that communicate precise information to both business and technical staff. Proven ability to understand the strategic and tactical approach to projects and handle multiple projects concurrently. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be a U.S. citizen, willing to relocate to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and hold an active Secret clearance.
