    Abacus Technology is seeking a Customer Engagement Manager to lead and support the identification of requirements and recommending solutions to the customer.  This is a full time position at NASA Headquarters and local offsite facilities.


    Engage business and technical decision makers to ensure business value is obtained and new value opportunities are identified.  Create value for customers by ensuring they clearly define business outcomes and then build a success plan with the appropriately identified objectives, stakeholders, milestones, risks and metrics needed to achieve them.  Support integration of technical solutions including overseeing the develop of training to ensure adoption by end users.  Leverage functional expertise to increase the customer’s involvement in the decision making process.  Influence solution adoption, create strong support for new opportunities, and to secure their willingness to advocate on behalf of the selected solution.  Build/maintain rapid channel of communication to customer in case of online service-related issues and events.  Orchestrate and gain strong buy-in with multiple external and internal partners/stakeholders as needed to ensure smooth integration.    


    10+ years experience in customer relationship management.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Able to exercise full supervision of teams and staff in terms of costs, methods, and employees.  Able to delegate assignments to subordinate managers and staff.  Capable of working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.  Experience in project management, tracking, and project integration support for both internal and external projects.  Able to effectively coordinate and implement tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously of different sizes and types.  Must have excellent verbal and written communications in producing deliverables and reports.  Experience with NASA project management desired.  Experience with earned value management (EVM) a plus.  Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
