Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking an Acquisitions and Requirements Manager to provide support for the CASC program at Lackland AFB.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Generate Project Design Review Reports (PDRR) identifying findings, evidence and recommended mitigations, overview, status in Development Lifecycle, and Courses of Action (COAs).  Provide COA recommendations for operational and strategic long term budgets.  Support solution develop, design and requirements to assist system owners, Program Management Offices (PMO), Functional Proponents, and others to validate their design processes and deliverables.  Review requirements and with support from infrastructure/engineering team recommend placement of security tools (hardware/software) on mission enclaves.  Collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, service, or products.  Develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.

Qualifications

8+ years experience in technical requirements/acquisition management.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired.  Must have DAU Level 2 Acquisition/Engineering Certification or PMP Certification.  Experience in project management including managing multiple priorities against ambitious timelines.  Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of project management and earned-value management principles and their application to complex projects.  Experience in a DOD manufacturing or engineering development environment.  Able to function as a change agent, creating an environment of trust, compliance, continuous improvement and learning.  Able to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.  Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.  Exceptional customer service orientation.  Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.  Proven ability to understand the strategic and tactical approach to projects and handle multiple projects concurrently.  Must be a US citizen and hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI.
