Abacus Technology is seeking a Logistician to provide acquisition support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
Provide logistical and equipment/supply management support for the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) EQ-4B GLOBAL HAWK (GH) URGENT OPERATIONAL NEED (UON). Provide direct logistical and equipment management support for the Tactical Data Networks (TDN) lab to encompass TDN Lab Equipment Accounts and collateral duty as a COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO). Direct, develop, and perform enterprise logistics management that involves analyzing, coordinating, and evaluating the necessary actions required to maintain lab assets in support of development, testing and sustainment of systems. Provide JUON/UON/Quick Reaction Capability logistics management support. Develop all required program documentation for all product support elements. Manage and execute organizational equipment and ITEC accounts.
5+ years experience in a logistics or acquisition position. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Site Activation Task Force experience supporting requirements development and supporting strategies for equipment deployments CONUS and OCONUS. Experience with aircraft electronics/communications/software equipment maintenance operations for military systems. Experience in aircraft acquisition to include FAA requirements and maintenance management of aviation systems. Knowledge of quality assurance standards for aircraft communications and IT/software systems. Experience in supply chain management using military and commercial carriers/supply account setup. Knowledge of defense transportation process and procedures (PHS&T) and MILAIR coordination. Experience with weapon-system health monitoring, reporting, and analysis. Familiar with performance based logistics contracts for sustainment and operational employment of Air Force Weapon Systems. Experience in the procurement and fielding of contractor developed systems supporting fielding and test operations. Experience with depot and organization level maintenance planning and development. Able to clearly and concisely brief thoughts and opinions to senior leaders during program reviews. Experience with Air Force and DoD logistical support requirements. Willing to be trained as a COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO). Experience with Federal and DOD regulations as they pertain to acquisitions and logistics. Capable of producing and maintaining well-written documentation to meet management and contract requirements. Familiar with the full life cycle of the procurement process. Must be organized and detail oriented. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization and demonstrate strong customer service skills. Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
