    Abacus Technology is currently at the ground floor implementation of CVRi2.  It is the upgraded communications system that will allow the B-2 to receive signals bounced off of lower levels of the atmosphere, bypassing the satellite relay.  This will ensure the B-2 remains a viable nuclear platform.  The CVRi2 provides a broader set of longer-term capabilities; upgrades across the entire airborne nuclear command, control, and communication fleet for platforms such as the B-52 Stratofortress and the E-4B Advanced Airborne Command Post.


    Abacus Technology is seeking an Acquisition Logistician to support this program.  This is a full-time position.



    Conduct acquisition logistics management support to include performing life cycle supportability analysis.  Develop/review Integrated Logistics Support plans, Computer Resources Life Cycle Management Plans, and solicitation documentation.  Establish maintenance/support concepts.  Assist with the procurement and management processes of support equipment, test equipment, technical orders, spares, training, supply support, and other resources.  Provide functional support in the areas of reliability and maintainability, Instructional System Design (ISD), and acquisition/training documentation development.  Work closely with the Depot to provide logistical analysis of repair time and sparing amounts.


    5+ years experience in a logistics position.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.   Knowledge of DoDI 5000.02.  Experience with Federal and DOD regulations as they pertain to acquisitions and logistics.  Capable of producing and maintaining well-written documentation to meet management and contract requirements.  Familiar with the full life cycle of the procurement process.  Knowledge of the following is desired: acquisition logistics, radio frequency (RF), signal processing systems, UHF/VLF, radar systems, reception and dissemination of survivable EAM, Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF), MILSTAR, Common VLF Receiver (CVR), and DoDI 02.  Must be organized and detail oriented.  Able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization and demonstrate strong customer service skills.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
