  • Overview

    Abacus Technology is seeking a Web Technical Lead to support web initiatives and engineering projects within the Intelligence Community.  This is a full-time position.

    Responsibilities

    Provide overall guidance and direction for web engineering projects.  Provide direction for web initiatives and program direction from the technical perspective and ensure that all technologies and projects focus on global and enterprise requirements.  Manage day-to-day activities and Web Services Technical Support Team members.  Provide oversight and guidance for security engineering; a configuration management plan; systems engineering; movement of applications into the cloud; and strategic plans for Web Services, aligning them with plans in conjunction with Intelligence Community Information Technology Environment (ICITE), Desk Top Environment (DTE), and C2S.  Provide oversight and planning of the SharePoint enterprise system and performing as liaison between engineering, CIO, and government for all web applications and services, ICITE initiatives, and Public Key Infrastructure.  Work in concert with the Lead Architect to provide a roadmap for technology and process evolution, both within the internal infrastructure with a focus on integration, interoperability, and security.

    Qualifications

    10+ years experience in system administrator or engineering role.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Experience with architectural design, DoD accreditation and certification, creating multiple secure domains, and system security and hardening.  Knowledge of web technologies and infrastructure including networks, LAN/WAN, PKI, and web administration.  Familiar with web development and implementation.  Extensive experience with MS SharePoint administration including WSS 2.0/3.0 and MOSS 2007.  Experience with MS Project and Office Suite.  Must have proven customer service experience.  Able to work independently or as part of team and to interact professionally within all levels of an organization.  Experience supporting Intelligence Community customers is desired.  Must be a US citizen and hold a minimum of a Top Secret clearance.
