    Abacus Technology is seeking a Network Administrator to provide infrastructure support within the Intelligence Community.  This is a full-time position.


    Perform or oversee the design, engineering, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all IT and digital broadcast video equipment and systems.  Act as the prime advisor to government management on all technical matters and make recommendations.  Manage an internal trouble ticket system and a content management system.  Write policies and SOPs for internal business groups.  Manage annual procurement and forecast budget for O&M contracts and support for future technologies.


    10+ years experience in network administration.  Bachelor's degree in a related field.  Extensive experience in the video and multimedia.  Experience in Apple Mac servers and integration of analog and digital video systems into an internal LAN with the following services: DNS, LDAP, Xgrid, Web (Apache), AFP, 5MB, Mail, and XSAN, which run on Mac OS X servers.  Experience as a LAN administrator and responsibility for LAN servers, internal SANs, and database servers (MS SQL and MySQL).  Experience working in a post-production video environment.  Able to work independently or as part of team and to interact professionally within all levels of an organization.  Experience supporting Intelligence Community customers is desired.  Must be a US citizen and hold a minimum of a Top Secret clearance.
