Abacus Technology is seeking a Schedule Analyst to support program offices in all aspects of schedule analysis. This is a full time position.
Conduct schedule quality assessment. Assess progress and activity duration analysis. Conduct baseline vs. forecast assessment. Assess realism and achievability of project milestones. Review and assess critical path and near critical path analysis and trends. Conduct and evaluate of schedule risk analysis. Integrate schedule data with cost and technical information. Develop contract performance management information for the monthly Program Management Review (PMR).
Positions available at multiple experience levels including entry (0-3 years), mid (3-6 years), junior (7-10 years), senior (11-14 years), and principal (15+ years). Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred for principal-level position. Working knowledge of scheduling methods, metrics, and best practices. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and with project scheduling tools (Microsoft Project). Familiar with schedule analysis tools and techniques, such as Risk + and Steelray. Demonstrated experience in evaluating schedule realism utilizing various methodologies. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in new schedule analytical techniques. Demonstrated experience in the areas of schedule analysis of Information Technology (IT) and mission processing programs a plus. Experience developing and reporting the schedule status of multiple systems and programs. Experience conducting schedule analyses that involve complex technical parameters, acquisition and logistics requirements, constraints, procurement and business principles and similar project-influencing factors desired. Experience in development of training materials, and supporting technical and management briefings a plus. Must be a quick learner with good analytical skills. Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed to one’s duties and responsibilities. Able to work in a team environment. Experience supporting Intelligence Community customers is desired. Must hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
